What is the best escape room you have ever played?

It is still difficult to choose, but ‘De Wraak van Han’ in Mechelen has really conquered a special place. It was the first room where I regularly stood with my mouth open watching what was happening. Moreover, I laughed a lot. The theme did not really appeal to me in advance, so my expectations were low. But this escape room – or rather: escape experience – stole my heart. A great proof that a room does not have to be scary to be impressively good. Really recommended!

What is the best thing you have experienced while working?

What I like most is getting groups excited. Sometimes I just can’t stop talking about it. It is great to infect others with the escape room virus. The idea that we can let people escape from everyday reality for a while makes it extra special.

Who do you prefer to play an escape room with?

I usually play with a regular group of friends. That often works the smoothest, because we are well attuned to each other and know each other's strengths and weaknesses. But I also love to share my passion for escape rooms with family every now and then. Their reactions are priceless!
